Mentoring Program
The Lamplighters Mentoring Program’s mission is to empower secondary age youth – ages nine to 17 – with academic and social skills, community connections, and progressive opportunities necessary to guide and ensure their future roles as active, educated, and responsible community members.
The Leading Ladies
Mentoring Program
The Leading Ladies Mentoring Program is a mentoring and leadership development program designed to provide resources for young ladies from ages eight to 18 years in Flint and surrounding areas. The program’s goal is to mold young girls into respected, educated young ladies through enrichment activities in leadership, education, self-awareness, and community service. The program addresses the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood by helping to achieve social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. We seek to create a sacred environment for young ladies to feel safe.
Success Center
At the Success Center, we offer a wide range of resources, programs, and services to meet your unique needs and goals. You’ll have access to one-on-one coaching and mentoring, teaching, and improving computer skills. This positive workspace encourages self-pace and self-directed learning with a focus on improving academic performance.
